The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) provides wholesale water and sewer services to Boston and sixty other communities, and rehabilitates and reconstructs area water supply and sewage treatment facilitites to preserve public health and protect natural resources. In fulfilling these responsibilities, the Program Management Division designs and constructs wastewater treatment facilities at Deer Island, Boston Harbor, and related projects to accomplish court-mandated rehabilitation of the harbor. Series is created by the division to report to the court on harbor project progress.
